Terms & Conditions
Baby Moonbeams offers funded early education and childcare to all eligible working families of children from the age of 9 months to 4 years and to all children aged 3 and 4 years.
Families that qualify for 15 hours of funding (570 hours per academic year) will have their funding offered as 4 hours per morning session and 3 hours per afternoon session, subject to availability.
Families that qualify for 30 hours of funding for Working Families (1170 hours per academic year) will have their funding offered as 7.5 hours per day over 4 days a week. Subject to availability. Services charges apply to the fully inclusive package.
Working Parents Funding ‘Opting in’
The Government Funding is used to provide the basic level of care required to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). At Baby Moonbeams we offer an All-Inclusive package for funded sessions to significantly enhance the service provided for our families. The all-inclusive package includes any additional hours within the session that are not funded as well as the additional items detailed below:
- Breakfast – Cereals, Toast, Fresh Fruit & Natural Yoghurt. Milk & Water to drink
- Chef prepared midday meal & pudding or fresh fruit. Milk & Water to drink
- Fresh fruit snack (pm)
- Hot or cold tea – chef prepared
- Nappies, baby wipes & barrier cream
- Suncream
- Outings & visits on foot for all rooms
- Toddler & Pre-school minibus outings
- Toddler & Pre-school weekly football lessons
- Toddler & Pre-School weekly dance lessons with Miss Alice
- Consumables for activities beyond EYFS requirements
This package is subject to a Service Charge, details of which are also detailed below.

Should families of children under the age of 3 years wish to opt out of the all-inclusive package, a full day from 9am until 3pm is offered where available with the Working Family Funding.
All children must attend nursery for a minimum of 2 sessions per week and those claiming Working Parents Funding must claim their Universal Funding at Little Moonbeams.
Working Family Funding is only offered on full days for children under the age of 3 years.
We are unable to offer a discount, refund or swap days for sessions not attended.
Working Parents Funding ‘Opting Out’

Funded only hours are from 9am until 3pm for 9 Months + and 2, 3 and 4 year olds of working families. (6 hours x 5 days @ 30 hours) Subject to availability.
Parents will be required to provide the following items daily:
For All Ages
- A packed mid-day meal in a sealed container with a full list of ingredients displayed. (Re heating is not an option) (EYFS Nutritional Guidelines must be met)
- A packed fresh fruit snack with a cold pack.
- Cow’s milk or alternative Cow’s milk or alternative
- Sun cream
For Under 3’s
- A named bag with 4 nappies, 4 nappy sacks, a pack of baby wipes and a small bin bag for nappy and wipe waste.
- Barrier cream.
- Two full sets of spare clothes. (Stored in the named bag)
Additional activities such as baking, local outings and visits and external services such as Dance Lessons and Football Lessons are not included in the ‘Opting Out’ option.
Funded Only Option for Non Working Family Funding
Funded only hours may be available for families accessing ‘Free for 2’ funding and 3 year olds of non-working families, subject to availability. Hours offered are from 8am until 12 noon and 1pm until 4pm.
